Set One – Bryant 25, Rhode Island 23
Rhody and Bryant went at each other right from the jump as the first set featured five lead changes and 11 ties. The Rams built an early 4-0 lead, but after Bryant tied the score at 5-5, neither team led by more than two points until a service ace from Carolina Camacho put Bryant up 19-16. Back-to-back kills by
Gabrielle Shilling capped a 5-2 push that allowed URI to tie the score at 21, forcing Bryant to call a timeout. The Bulldogs came out of the break and scored three straight points – and four of the next six overall – for the 25-23 win.
Set Two – Bryant 25, Rhode Island 23
Bryant carried the momentum from the first-set win into the second, where it built a 10-5 advantage. Six consecutive Rhode Island points put Rhody back in it with an 11-10 lead, but the Bulldogs grabbed the next four points – three of which came on errors by URI – to take the lead for good.

Set Three – Bryant 25, Rhode Island 21
The Rams combined for 13 kills in the third set, while holding Bryant to 11. However, the Bulldogs converted 71 percent (15-21) of their sideout opportunities and served up three aces with zero service errors, compared to Rhody's three service errors with zero aces. URI's last lead came on a
Karlee Pinell kill that made it 10-9 Rams. From there, Bryant scored the next three points and did not allow Rhode Island to pull back ahead.
