How it Happened
Rhode Island Women's Soccer was unable to stop the offensive firepower of Saint Louis, falling 5-0 on Sunday afternoon at the URI Soccer Complex.

The Billikens scored twice in the first half before adding three more goals in the second to claim the win. The Rams recorded just two shots on goal, both in the second half, from Sam Hagerty and Lauren MacDonald

Saint Louis utilized a one-on-one opportunity against goalkeeper Faith Hutchins to score its initial goal before capitalizing on a corner kick to net the second.

The visitors continued to attack following the break, adding their third goal with a corner kick in the 60th minute. The Billikens kept the pressure on down the stretch, tallying a fourth score in the 66th minute when Abbie Miller one-touched a cross from Katie Houck. Hannah Sawyer provided the final blow with just under six minutes left in the match, heading in a pass from Emily Groark.
