KINGSTON. R.I. — Rhode Island women's basketball head coach Tammi Reiss was named the ESPNW Coach of the Week, ESPN announced Monday. Reiss, who also earned the weekly honor a season ago, led the Rams to a pair of wins last week to extend the team's winning streak to 10. The double-overtime win over Saint Joseph's preserved URI's 11-0 record at the Ryan Center, and the Rams remain at the top of the Atlantic 10 undefeated in league play.

Rhody returns to action this Wednesday to host George Washington at the Ryan Center. Tip off is set for 6:00 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+, locally broadcast to Cox/Yurview (Ch. 4) and on the airwaves through the Varsity Network. Tickets can be purchased here.
