How it Happened
Rhode Island dominated from start to finish as it defeated Le Moyne 76-51 for its first road win of the season Sunday afternoon.

Rhode Island (2-1) overwhelmed Le Loyne (0-3) with its size early, building a double-digit lead before the end of the opening quarter. Rhody limited the Dolphins to 3-of-15 from the field, bothering every shot attempt. On the other end, URI shared the ball well, getting seven assists on its eight field goals. It all helped Rhode Island open a 19-9 lead by the end of the quarter.

Le Moyne scored the first two points of the second quarter to get within eight points, but that was as close as the game got the rest of the way. Mary-Kate Tshibuabua kickstarted a 9-3 run for the Rams with a layup from Ines Debrois. Just before the half Cia Eklöf hit back-to-back 3-pointers to extend URI's lead to 39-22, its biggest advantage of the half.

Rhode Island expanded its lead to as many as 27 points in the third quarter and cruised throughout the second half.
