Set One – Rhode Island 25, Davidson 23
Megan Disu and Havyn Rolle each had four kills and Andrea Owens added three of her own as the Rams hit .417 in the first set. URI trailed 13-8, but a 12-7 run gave Rhody a 20-18 lead. Davidson tied it at 20-20, but a pair of kills from Owens plus kills from Disu and Emma Vente closed out the set.

Set Two – Davidson 25, Rhode Island 12
The second set was all Davidson, as the Wildcats hit .538 as a team behind five kills each from Jackie Bardin and Emma Slusser. The Wildcats led from start to finish as it quickly evened the match.

Set Three – Davidson 25, Rhode Island 20
Davidson took control early, building a 13-6 led. Rhody rallied with a 9-2 run to knot the score at 15-15 after an Emma Vente ace. The teams were tied at 16-16, 17-17 and 18-18, but Davidson ran off six straight points and eventually took a 2-1 set lead with a kill from Melanie Tilles.

Set Four – Davidson 25, Rhode Island 13
Much like the second set, Davidson led from start to finish. The Wildcats pushed their lead to double digits at 14-4, 16-6 and 23-13. Rhody was never able to get closer than seven points, and Davidson sealed the match with back-to-back aces by Jordan Hummel.
