Rhode Island had competitors at both the BU Valentine Invite and URI Coaches Invite Saturday. At the URI Coaches Invite, the Rams swept the field events, claiming first in all six events. Prior to the home meet, Rhody's seniors were honored for their last competition at Mackal.

Highlights from URI Coaches Invite

• Rhody had the top-4 finished in the long jump, led by Israel Henriques-Setho who had a leap of 7.27m (23' 10.25"). Nate Shultz was second (23' 2.75"), Davon Tate finished third (22' 11.5") and Isaiah Webster was fourth (22' .25").
• Orion Joyner claimed first in the triple jump (47' 10.5"). John Santos finished fifth (44' 7.75") and Henriques-Setho was sixth (44' 1.5").
• Chris Tavarone finished first in the shot put after throwing 56' 2.75". Devin Donahue was fourth (49' 7").
• Alexander Baez was first in the weight throw, marking 65' 5". 
• Ryan Tona finished in first place in the high jump after clearing 6' 8.75". Matt Santy was third (6; 6.75").
• Mason Brubaker won the pole vault with a mark of 16' 4.75".
• Kai Schmidt-Bilowith finished first in the 60 meter hurdles in 8.21 seconds. 
• Alex Arbogast finished second in the 60 meter final, crossing the finish line in 6.88 seconds.

Highlights from BU Valentine Invite

• Jarrett Young finished fifth in the 200 meters with a time of 21.54 seconds. Jolon O'Connor was 13th in 21.73 seconds.
