Rhode Island men's track and field had one final tune-up before the Atlantic 10 Indoor Championship next week, sending a small squad to the state capital to compete at the Brown Invitational. The Rams finished fifth after collecting 48 team points.

Highlights from Competition

• Damian Scouloukas won the pole vault after clearing 14' 11". Neil Waldhausen placed second after a mark of 14' 5.25".
• In the long jump, Davon Tate placed first after leaping 23' 5.25". Scouloukas finished fifth (21' 11.75").
• Rhody's Theo Puterbaugh claimed first in the shot put, throwing 53' 6.25". CJ McDermott finished fourth (47' 9.75") and Wyatt Lamell was ninth (40' 8.25").
