Rhode Island had a busy week of competition, with Rams at both the Raleigh Relays and Bryant Black & Gold Invitational. 

Raleigh Relays - Results
Thursday

• Ben Fleischer was 79th in the 5000 meters finishing in a program-record time of 14.09.23.
• Lucas Frost finished seventh in the javelin (62.98m) and Seth Cordeiro was 14th (57.04m). 
• Chris Tavarone placed sixth in the shot put (17.20m).

Friday

• Tristen Howard was fourth in the 100 meters (10.38s), Liam Creeley finished 37th (10.79s), and Alex Arbogast was 55th (10.94s). 
• Rhode Island had three runners in the 400 meters, led by Jarrett Young who was 18th (48.72s), Lucas Plaia finished 22nd (48.89s), and CJ Kiviat was 38th (49.61s). 
• In the triple jump, Orion Joyner placed third with a leap of 15.09 meters. 
• Matt Santy was sixth in the high jump, clearing 2.05 meters.
• Mason Brubaker finished fifth in the pole vault invitational, marking 5.00 meters.
• Tavarone claimed 43rd in the discus with a throw of 42.63 meters.

Saturday

• The Rams finished sixth in the 4x100 meter relay (40.78s).
• Alexander Baez was 11th in the hammer throw (58.72m).
• Collin Ochs was eighth in the 800 meters, finishing in 1:49.46. Eli Baker finished 34th with a time of 1:51.28.
• In the long jump, Israel Henriques-Setho was 11th (7.04m), Matt Santy was 14th (7.01m), Derek Chalmers was 17th (6.86m), and John Santos was 34th (6.43m).

Bryant Black & Gold Invitational - Results
Friday

• Nathan Masi was seventh in the 1000 meters (31:45.47). Lars Hogne finished 13th (31:58.66) and Tyler Sheedy was 23rd (34:47.72). 

Saturday

• Neil Waldhausen won the pole vault after clearing 4.43 meters, and Alex Destefano placed second with a 4.28 meter mark.
• Rowan McConkey placed second for the Rams in the high jump (1.88m).
• In the 1500 meters, Erik Bird was 15th (4:02.64), Jesse Principe was 20th (4:05.10), Garrett Hartline was 41st (4:12.93) and Adam Melnick finished 50th (4:19.94). 
• The four also represented the Rams in the 800 meters, led by Melnick's eighth-place finish (1:57.54). Bird was ninth (1:58.20), Principe finished 19th (2:00.62), and Hartline finished 35th (2:08.50).  
• Damian Scouloukas placed 14th in the 110m hurdles (17.23s).
• Scouloukas also raced in the 400 meters, finishing 23rd in 56.14 seconds. 
• Nate Field placed fourth in the hammer with a throw of 53.09 meters.
• In the 100 meters, Nick Morrison crossed the finish line in 11.36 seconds.
• Morrison placed second in the 200 meters (22.26s)
• Cooper Mitchell finished ninth in the 400 meter hurdles (58.55s).
