Rhode Island continued its spring slate with action at Providence College's Friar Invitational and UConn's Northeast Challenger over the weekend.

• Collin Ochs won the 800 meters, crossing the finish line in 1:50.75. 
• Cooper Mitchell placed second in the 400 meter Hurdles, finishing in 57.64.
• Ben Fleischer recorded a personal best in the 5000 meters at 14:06.90, good for fifth overall. 

Northeast Challenge - Results 
Northeast Challenge - Friday

• Lucas Frost won the javelin throw with a 220' 1" toss, good for a season-best. 
• Derek Chalmers placed third in the long jump with a season-best, 23' 11.75" mark. He was joined in the top-10 by Israel Henriques-Setho (sixth, 23' 3.25") and Isaiah Webster (10th, 22' 10.5").

Northeast Challenge - Saturday

• Jesse Principe ran a personal best time of 9:55.33 to win the 3000-meter steeplechase. 
• Mason Brubaker finished second in the pole vault after clearing 16' 1.25". 
• Jarrett Young scored six points in the 200 meters with a third-place finish (21.07). Steven Doss (fifth, 21.44) and Jolon O'Connor (sixth, 21.45) also added points for Rhody in the event. 
• Orion Joyner was sixth in the triple jump with a 47' 8" effort. 
• Theo Puterbaugh recorded a season-best throw of 53' 1.75" in the shot put, good for sixth overall. Chris Tavarone finished just behind him in the standings (53' 0"). 
• Matthew Santy cleared 6' 8" in the high jump to finish seventh. 
• Nick Morrison finished eighth in the 400 meters at 49.65, scoring one point. 
• Collin Ochs was ninth in the 800 meters (1:55.62). 
• CJ McDermott placed 10th in the discus with a 146' 0" throw.
