WORCESTER, MASS. — With two weeks until the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championship, the Rams picked up a team win at the Holy Cross Invitational Saturday. Rhody collected 168 points, ahead of Maine (134) and the host Crusaders (121) to round out the top three.

Highlights from Competition

• Alexander Baez won the hammer throw with a mark of 58.54 meters.
• Antonio Capalbo won the 800 meters in 1:52.26.
• Mason Brubaker placed first in the pole vault after clearing 5.00 meters.
• Damian Scouloukas won the triple jump with a leap of 13.70 meters.
• Chris Tavarone finished first in the shot put (16.78m) and Theo Puterbaugh placed second (16.64m).
• Tavarone was fifth in the discus after throwing 44.61 meters.
• Kai Schmidt-Bilowith placed third in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.41 seconds. 
• Jesse Principe was sixth in the 2000m steeplechase (6:09.69).
• Liam Creeley placed second in the 100 meters (10.66s) and Jarrett Young was third (10.67s).
• Young was runner-up in the 200 meters, crossing the finish line in 21.49 seconds. Jolon O'Connor placed third in 21.54 seconds.
• Nick Morrison placed third in the 400 meters with a time of 48.65 seconds.
• The 4x400m relay team of Morrison, Cooper Mitchell, Capalbo, and Owen Fleischer finished second (3:21.89).
• Erik Bird was fourth in the 1500m with a time of 3:58.27.
