Rhode Island had a handful of Rams compete at the Penn Relays. Competition ran Thursday through Saturday at Franklin Field in Philadelphia.

- The trip was highlighted by the sprint medley relay's school-record finish. The team of Alex Arbogast, Liam Creeley, Jarrett Young, and Collin Ochs placed third with a time of 3:21.51. The time broke the previous record of 3:23.30 set by Jalen Young, Tyler Oliveira, Anthony Davidson, and Zach Campo on April 26, 2013.
- Matt Santy also added a top-finish, placing second in the high jump with a personal-best mark of 6' 11".
- Chris Tavarone competed in both the shot put in the discus. He threw a mark of 55' 1" in the shot put for fourth place. Theo Puterbaugh finished 11th with a mark of 51' 4.25". In the discus, Tavarone heaved 152' 10" for 18th place.
- In the hammer, Alexander Baez finished 15th after throwing 184' 4".
- Rhody's final competitor was Lucas Frost, who placed fifth in the javelin with a mark of 215' 7".Â

The Rams have one more tune-up before they begin their hunt for more hardware at the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championship next weekend in Fairfax, Va. On Sunday April 28, Rhody will compete at the Brown Spring Invitational in Providence.Â
