William Synnestvedt made six saves, including multiple at point-blank range. His work helped the Rams record their third shutout of the season.
VCU had the best chances in the first half. In the 15th minute Sulaiman Abdul-Mateen fired a low shot that
William Synnestvedt knocked away. Luca Estabio got the rebound and put a shot on target, but a Rhody defender was able to head the ball away from the end line.
