How it Happened

Rhody (6-2) led 55-50 following a Palmire Mbu 3-pointer with 6:04 to go. From there, the visiting Tigers (6-1) went on a 14-1 run that featured eight points from Skye Belker. While Princeton was heating up, URI missed four straight shots and had a turnover during the run.

By the time Brooklyn Gray hit a 3-pointer with 40 seconds to go, Rhode Island was trailing 66-59. The Rams were unable to cut further into the lead, snapping a three-game winning streak.
