How It Happened
Ashley Hibbard delivered a complete-game gem, but Rhode Island (1-4) fell 1-0 to Dartmouth (3-7) in the final game of the Lowcountry Classic Sunday morning.

Hibbard and Dartmouth's Jensin Hall were both phenomenal, trading blank frames for the first five innings. Hibbard allowed just three singles through the first five innings, while Jensin had a perfect game through the fifth.

Mandi Hanewich broke up the no-hitter with a single to lead off the top of the sixth inning. She advanced to second when Julianne Torres singles up the middle with one out. The Rams were unable to get a run across, as Hall induced a foul out and strikeout.

In the bottom of the sixth, Alaana Panu led off with a double to center field. She moved to third on a flyout by Faby Serna, then came in with the game's lone run on a sacrifice fly by Justice Malone.
