KINGSTON, R.I. - Rhode Island Rowing will go for its 11th Atlantic 10 Championship in program history on Saturday morning in Cherry Hill, N.J.
Racing on the Cooper River begins with prelims at 8 a.m., with finals scheduled to start at 11 a.m. Live results will be available
here and both the
prelims and

The Rams will look to hold their place at the top of the conference after fending off second-place George Washington a season ago. Rhody's Varsity 8+ sprinted past the Revolutionaries in the final 1000m of its race to clinch the title, its first since a 2018-22 stretch that saw the team win four straight. All 10 of Rhode Island's titles have been earned since 2008.
Rhody is led by team captains
Hailey Pardi,
Bella Bruno,
Ellie McGee and
Emma Brookins. Along with its leadership group, the team is led by returning All-Conference selections
Bethany Nordstrom (2024 First Team) and
Emma Barnhart (2024 Second Team).
The winner of the title will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship, which is being held on Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J. from May 30-June 1. Rhode Island has earned the league's automatic bid seven times (2024, 2022, 2021, 2019, 2018, 2016, 2013).
