How it Happened
Rhode Island failed to score for the first time this season as it lost at UAlbany 3-0 Friday night.
The host Great Danes broke through in the 40th minute when Isaac Filippo scored off an assist from David Barkan. Both Filippo and Barkan came on as reserves, with Filippo entering the match in the 26th minute, and Barkan entering just six minutes before his assist.
Tommy McFadden extended the lead in 66th minute. He scored with assists from Alexander Clive Vokes and Rodrigo Hermelo.
Rhode Island did not get its first shot on goal until
Theo Harris put one on target in the 75th minute. Keeper Andrej Krivokapic was there for the stop, keeping Rhody off the board. By the time Ivar Orri Gissurarson scored Albany's third goal of the night, the outcome was well in hand.
