How it Happened
Rhode Island beat Loyola Chicago 70-58 on Saturday night for its sixth straight win. Four Rams were in double figures including Albina Syla's 16 points on 7-of-15 shooting.

Syla also added 10 rebounds helping her to her second double-double of the season and first since the Rams opening night victory over Manhattan on Nov. 3, 2025. 

With the win, head coach Tammi Reiss matched the program record for career wins with 122. 

Loyola Chicago (4-10, 0-3 Atlantic 10) jumped out to a 5-0 start in the opening two minutes of the game. Rhode Island (12-2, 3-0 Atlantic 10) responded with an 11-0 run on their own. The final five points of the Rams run came off the hand of Ines Debroise including a paint-jumper, transition layup, and made free throw. That set the pace for Rhode Island the rest of the way. 

The Ramblers' Alexus Mobley hit a 3-point bucket to tie the game at 21 with 3:42 remaining in the second quarter. Debroise responded for Rhode Island with a three of her own to give Rhode Island the lead back. The Rams led for the remaining 23 plus minutes of the game.
