RHODE ISLAND VS. GEORGE MASON - Series notes 

• Rhode Island is back on the road after spending the last three games at home.
• The Rams face the Patriots of George Mason Saturday.
• Historically, URI is 7-6 all-time against GMU.
• The Patriots swept the season series a year ago, beating Rhode Island 71-65 in Kingston Jan. 12, 2025 before handing the Rams a 56-44 loss in Fairfax Feb. 12, 2025.
• Before the season sweep, Rhody had won five straight games in the all-time series with George Mason.
• The last Rhody win was a Jan. 2, 2024 70-68 win at the Ryan Center.
• The Rams are 10-1 on the road this season, winning the last nine straight games away from Kingston while Mason is 9-2 at Eaglebank Arena this year.
• Grad student Ta'Viyanna Habib spent two seasons at George Mason before transferring to Rhode Island.
• Former Rhode Island forward Hawa Komara transferred to George Mason for her final year of eligibility.  
• Rhody enters Saturday on a 16-game win streak, a program record.

• George Mason beat Dayton last time out, 72-61.
• The Patriots are 11-1 in Atlantic 10 action, with their only loss being against Richmond (71-57).
• George Mason is third in the A-10 in scoring offense, averaging 68.0 points per game, behind the Rams at second (69.2 ppg).
• Leading the team is Zahirah Walton and her 18.9 points per game. Walton adds 5.7 rebounds per game.
• Forward Hawa Komara has a team-high 7.6 rebounds per game.
• George Mason freshman Mary Amoateng is the reigning A-10 Rookie of the Week.

• Rhode Island won its 16th straight game last time out, beating VCU  85-42 at the Ryan Center.
• The 16 straight wins are tied for the fourth-longest in the nation. Only UConn (42), North Dakota State (20) and UCLA (18) have won more consecutive games. 
• Rhody scored 85 points in its win over the VCU-based Rams, marking the 11th time this year Rhody has scored 70+ points. 
• Last year, the Rams scored 70+ points in seven total games.
• The 16-game win streak is the best in program history. 
• The previous record win streak for URI was a 13-game stint in the 2021-22 season. 
• Rhode Island is 13-0 in Atlantic 10 play for the first time in program history.

• Rhode Island is back on the road after playing its last three straight games at the Ryan Center.
• The last time the Rams were on the road, they defeated Fordham 61-47 to improve to 10-1 on the road.
• It was the ninth straight road win for the Rams, who haven't lost a game away from Kingston since the game at Rutgers back on Nov. 13.
• Rhody's 10-1 road record is the best in program history.
• The Rams are averaging 64.8 points per game on the road this season.
