KINGSTON, R.I. -- For the fifth straight week, the Rams are again on the outside looking in to the AP Top 25, receiving a program-best 29 votes in the latest poll, released Monday. Rhode Island is up three votes from a week ago, where they earned 26 points. Rhody is behind only Minnesota (42), and ahead of Georgia (23), Iowa State (17), Illinois (6), Richmond (5), NC State (5), Fairfield (4), and North Dakota State (1).
The Rams had another 2-0 week, extending their win streak to a program-record 15 in a row. Now the lone team to remain undefeated in conference play, Rhody picked up its 12th conference victory with a dominating win over Saint Louis Sunday (74-43).
