How It Happened
Ashley Hibbard pitched a two-hit shutout and Rhode Island matched its largest margin of victory this season, pounding Stonehill 11-0 Tuesday afternoon.

The Rams (18-26) hit multiple home runs in a game for the first time this season. Kylie Bulinski and Giuliana Ialongo each had solo shots to power an 11-hit, seven-walk attack.

Rhode Island scored twice in the first inning, twice in the third, once in the fourth, two more times in the fifth and four times in the sixth as it steadily put the game away.

With the offense clicking, Hibbard put Stonehill (12-34) away. She allowed just two hits and one walk while going the distance.
