How it Happened
Rhode Island got on the board within the first two minutes of the game and didn't look back, cruising to a 1-0 victory over Central Connecticut Sunday afternoon.

Megan Steinbach took the ball to the corner of the box and found Kaia Rice in front of the goal. From there, Rice had an assist to Nika Jacobs who found the back of the net for her second goal of the season. The Rams went into the break up 1-0.

The Blue Devils had four shots in the second half, all stopped by Rhody keeper Addisen Nicholson to preserve the shutout. She had six total saves on the day en route to URI's second win of the season.
