How it Happened
Stony Brook used a pair of second-half goals to propel themselves over the Rams Tuesday evening.

It was all Stony Brook out of the gate, collecting the first six shots of the game before Nokkvi Hjorvarsson and Finlay Oliver connected to feed Ryan Farr, who tucked a right-footed shot into the bottom left corner to open the scoring for the Seawolves.

Rhody was able to answer back nine minutes later when Connor Froberg sent a long throw-in that was headed forward by Lean Husterer before Liam Kuemmritz pulled out the acrobatics and scored on a bicycle kick to level the score at 1-1.

Nearly 20 minutes into the second half, the Seawolves got back in front when Nelson Reynoso sent a free kick into the box that was settled by Lars Fahre and rolled to the feet of Tobias Hansen who passed the ball into the net.

Froberg was close to getting the game back to even when he forced a tremendous save by Stony Brook goalkeeper Heidar Hermannsson in the 77th minute. The Seawolves added some insurance in the 86th minute when Alex Fleury exposed the Rhody defense for the third goal of the evening to close the door on the match.
