2017 (Junior)

• Team co-captain.
• Was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team.
• Finished the season ranked third on the team with 12 points on four goals and four assists.
• Scored his first goal of the season in URI's 2-1 win over George Washington.
• Registered a goal and an assist in Rhody's 3-2 victory over St. Bonaventure.
• Scored what proved to be the game-winning goal - on a penalty kick - at Holy Cross.
• Assisted on URI's first goal of the game and then netted an equalizer with just 25 seconds remaining in regularion in a 2-2 draw at Davidson.
• Was named Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 16.
• Assisted on URI's first goal in a 2-1 victory over Duquesne.

2016 (Sophomore) 

• Appeared in 18 games and made 15 starts.
• Finished the season with six points on two goals and two assists.
• Assisted on Stavros Zarokostas' goal against La Salle.
• Scored two goals in Rhody's 3-1 victory over George Mason.
• Recorded an assist in URI's 3-1 win over La Salle in the quarterfinals of the Atlantic 10 Championship.

2015 (Freshman) 

• Appeared in 19 games and made 17 starts.
• Tied classmate Emil Jesman Sunde for the team lead with 14 points on the season.
• Led all Atlantic 10 freshmen with six goals; also registered two assists.
• Was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team.
• Ranked #68 on TopDrawerSoccer's listing of the nation's Top-100 Freshmen of 2015
• Recorded his first career point - an assist - in URI's 2-0 win at NJIT.
• Scored his first career goal in Rhody's 3-0 victory at Yale.
• Netted URI's lone goal of the game in a 1-1 draw with #22 Boston College.
• Scored an unassisted goal from 30 yards out at UMass.
• Scored the lone goal of the game in URI's 1-0 victory at George Washington, snapping the Colonials streak of 409+ minutes without conceding a goal.
• Netted a pair of goals - including the game-winner - in Rhody's 4-2 win over Saint Louis in the A-10 quarterfinals.
• Assisted on URI lone goal of the game in a 2-1 semifinal loss to eventual A-10 Champion Dayton.
• Was the only freshman named to the league's 11-man All-Championship team.

Before URI

• Was a six-year member of JFG Neumarkt.
• Also played a total of 93 games for SV Seligenporten and 38 games in the Regionalliga Bayern.

Personal

• Born Sept. 12, 1993.
• Son of Susann and Hubert Richter.
• Has a younger brother, Tim.
• Enjoys soccer, tennis, basketball, hanging out with friends and playing guitar.
• Favorite athletes are Marco Reus, Patrick Schönfeld, Michael Jordan and Derrick Rose.
• Favorite teams are FC Nuremberg, the Chicago Bulls and the German National Soccer Team.
• Chose to attend URI over NC State, Delaware and Montana State University Billings.
• Made his decision based on URI's coaching staff and the way they handled the recruiting process.
• Double majoring in Business Administration and Environmental & Natural Resource Economics.
• Would like to pursue a career in soccer.
