• Appeared in 11 games and made one start.
• Made his first career start against St. Bonaventure.

• Attended Yarmouth High School (2017-20) and Bridgton Academy (2020-21).
• Captained his Yarmouth team as a senior.
• Throughout his four-year high school career, recorded 21 goals and 32 assists while leading his team to three state championships (2017, 2018, 2019).
• Lost just one game in four years of varsity soccer.
• Was named Maine's Class B Player of the Year in 2020.
• Also was an All-Conference, All-State and All-New England First Team selection in 2020.
• Earned Yarmouth High School's Fall Athlete of the Year award in 2020, and collected the same accolade from the Falmouth Forecaster.
• Played club soccer for Seacoast United Maine (2018-20), GPS (2014-18) and Seacoast Mariners NPSL (2019-21).

• Born May 27, 2000.
• Son of Merritt Carey and Sean Ireland.
• Has two younger sisters, Madeline and Grace.
• Enjoys fly fishing, hiking and the outdoors.
• Favorite athlete is Lionel Messi.
• Favorite team is Tottenham Hotspurs.
• Chose to attend URI over UMass and Stonehill.
• Selected Rhode Island because of the successful soccer program, the academic opportunities and the campus location.
