• Appeared in 18 games, making 15 starts, primarily as either the designated player or at first base

• Had a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage with 65 total chances
• Collected her first career hits with a 2-for-3 showing at Brown in what was also her first career start (4/11)
• Made her collegiate debut as a pinch hitter against Marist (2/24)

Before URI

• Attended Foran High School, where she played softball, volleyball, basketball and football
• Through her first three seasons, had a career batting average of .458 with 98 hits in 69 games
• Team captain in softball as a senior
• Also played for the CT Charmers Gold club team
• Earned All-State honorable mention and First-Team All-SCC honors as a junior

• Born July 13, 1999
• Daughter of Daniel and Marybeth DeSousa
• Has one brother, Daniel
• Is related to Manny DeSousa, who played football at Rhode Island in 1997
• Chose Rhode Island for its location, the beautiful campus, it’s academic reputation and the softball program
• Enjoys working out, playing ukulele, rollerblading, ice skating, playing softball and yo-yoing
• Favorite athlete is Peyton Manning
• Favorite teams are the Boston Red Sox and Indianapolis Colts
• Majoring in Political Science
