• Appeared in 18 games, making eight starts in the circle
• Finished with a record of 2-6 and an ERA of 6.48
• Made her first career start against Marist, pitching 6.1 innings (2/24)
• Earned her first career victory with 1.1 innings of scoreless relief against Mt. Saint Mary's (2/17)
• Made her collegiate debut with 2.2 innings of relief against North Texas (2/16)

Before URI

• Was a four-year member of the softball team at Middletown North
• First-Team All-Division Group III as a junior
• First-Team All-Shore as both a sophomore and junior
• Honorable Mention All-Shore as a freshman
• Led Middletown North to the Shore Conference championship as a junior, helping the team go undefeated in division play
• Also won a Shore Conference Championship as a sophomore
• Holds the Middletown North record for most career wins and most wins in one season
• As a junior, went 26-4 with 161 strikeouts in 30 appearances
• Also played for the Jersey Flames 18u Gold Schaffer club team from 2013-17

• Born Feb. 25, 1999
• Daughter of Kim and Bryan Kernan
• Has one brother, Richard, and one sister, Mackenzie
• Her father, Richard, played baseball at South Carolina Aiken
• Chose Rhode Island for the beautiful campus, it’s great academic reputation and because of the softball team
• Enjoys playing softball, volunteering with special needs children and painting
• Favorite athlete is Jennie Finch
• Majoring in Kinesiology
