2022 (Senior)

  • Started all 45 games in which she played
  • Batted .244 with seven doubles, one home run, 11 runs batted in and 12 runs scored
  • Led the team in walks (18), sacrifice bunts (8) and sacrifice flies (2)
  • Recorded 70 putouts and two assists while making just two errors  

2021 (Junior)

  • Started the first 11 games of the season before suffering a season-ending injury
  • Batted .310 with four doubles and two RBI
  • Scored five runs and had a .412 on-base percentage
2020 (Sophomore)
  • Started all 20 games in the outfield
  • Batted .158 with four doubles, one home run and a team-high eight runs scored
  • Led the team with 14 walks and was third on the team with six runs batted in 

2019 (Freshman)

  • Named to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team
  • Started all 26 games she played before suffering a season-ending injury
  • Batted .385 with 24 hits, eight doubles and two home runs

  • Attended Cypress Ranch High School, where she played softball (3 letters), basketball and bowling (1 letter)
  • Was a three-time First-Team All-District selection
  • Named a team captain as a senior
  • Also served as captain for her club team, the Hoston Power (2017, 2018)
  • Helped her team win District and Bi District titles in 2017 and 2018
  • Had 92 career hits and 88 RBI over three seasons
  • Batted .398 as a senior, .374 as a junior and .368 as a sophomore

  • Daughter of Jose Villarreal and Laura Villarreal
  • Has one brother, Joseph, and one sister, Brittney
  • Considered attending Penn, Dartmouth, Colgate and Texas A&M - College Station
  • Chose Rhode Island because, "It gives me the opportunity to not only get a great engineering degree, but to play the sport I love. URI also gives me the full college experience with beautiful scenery, great faculty and the opportunity to live in an environment outside of my comfort zone."
  • She is the first person in her family to be a collegiate athlete
  • "Family holds a special place in my heart, and no matter how far away I am, I know they are always supporting me."
  • Enjoys softball, bowling, basketball and fishing
  • Favorite athlete is Tim Duncan
  • Favorite teams are the San Antonio Spurs, Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros
  • Majoring in Mechanical Engineering
