Rhode Island women's basketball head coach Colleen Mullen announced Carly Fabbri as an addition to her staff in May 2026. Fabbri joins Mullen in Kingston as an assistant coach/recruiting coordinator after spending the 2025-26 season on staff at Quinnipiac, her alma mater, following a standout playing career from 2014 to 2018.
Fabbri had a phenomenal senior season for Quinnipiac, earning All-MAAC Third Team honors and MAAC All-Tournament Team honors. Fabbri was also named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team and the MAAC All-Academic Team. The Stratford, Connecticut, native averaged 9.6 points per game and was ranked 11th in the nation with a 2.90 assist-to-turnover ratio, recording 142 assists and 49 turnovers. Fabbri celebrated her senior day in a big way, dropping a season-high 21 points in her final game in Hamden.
She also earned all-tournament and academic honors. A Stratford, Connecticut native, Fabbri led Lauralton Hall to its first CIAC Championship and collected multiple Player of the Year honors.
