The youngest of seven children, Oberg comes from an extremely athletic family. Her mother Kathy played professional basketball in Sweden after her collegiate career at Alabama
Her father Ted played professionally in Mexico after his own collegiate career at National University
Oberg’s sisters Shannon (UNLV) and Kaitlin (Baylor, Furman) played professionally in Germany and Puerto Rico, respectively
Her brother Andrew played football at UNLV, and her brother Tighe played basketball at Palm Beach State and Clarenden College
