Before Rhode Island

• Attended Quincy High School, where she played four years of basketball, volleyball, softball and track & field
• Played club ball for the South Shore Elite Shamrocks
• Also played club volleyball for the Mass Patriots
• As a senior, she averaged 22 points, 16.7 rebounds and 4.0 blocked shots per game
• Led Quincy to a league championship as a senior, a year in which she also set her school's single-season records for points (507) and rebounds (384)
• Was a two-year team captain for basketball
• Was a two-time Patriot League MVP
• Was a four-time All-Scholastic selection as well as a four-time Pariot League All-Star
• Was a Division I state champion in the javelin with a throw of 125 feet, five inches
• Also won the javelin at the South Shore Priciples Twilight Meet
• Was a two-time All-Scholastic selection in volleyball
• Scored 1,274 points and set a Quincy record with 1,159 career rebounds
• Is the first player in city history to record 28 rebounds in a single game for Quincy

• Daughter of Colleen and John Jorgensen
• Has three brothers - Ian, Alex and Curran
• Her brother Ian played football at UMass
• Her brother Curran played football at Bridgewater University and Mass Maritime
• Considered attending Longwood University and Southern New Hampshire
• Chose Rhode Island because of the family environement she felt
• Her favorite athletes are Elena Delle Donne and Tom Brady
• Her favorite teams are the New England Patriots and the Chicago Sky
• Majoring in Health Studies
