Catie Szymanoski joined Shelagh Donohoe's staff as an assistantcoach before the start of the 2012-13 season following a four-yearrowing career with the Rams.

In her first season as a coach, Szymanoski helped the Rams wintheir second straight Atlantic 10 title in 2013. She was the cox ofthe Varsity 4+ boat that finished second in its final at theAtlantic 10 Championship, helping Rhode Island win the team title.She also was a team member for the 2010 A-10 championship team.

A team captain as a senior, Szymanoski was part of the squad thatrepresented Rhode Island at the 2012 Women's Henley Regatta inEngland.
