- Considered attending Providence College and Sacred Heart
- Chose Rhode Island because, "The very first time I was on the URI campus, I immediately fell in love with the beautiful campus; the stone buildings and all the trees and nature. When I was younger, I competed in club swimming and had many meets here. I remember coming and thinking how beautiful of a campus it was. When I came to campus my Junior year for a tour, I loved how the professors here really emphasized how the students' academic track got them right into their major. On my tour, a PHARMD student spoke to my tour group and I knew that that was the program and this was the college for me. A major factor is that they allow their students to have hands-on experiences and lead them on a path to succeed in life; with future careers and job opportunities. Being so close to the water was also a factor in my decision to attend URI. The access to the water led me to rowing."
