Abby Langevin

Abby Langevin joined the Rhode Island athletic department as an athletic trainer in June of 2024. In her role, she works directly with the women’s soccer and softball programs.

Familiar to URI, Langevin was a student athletic trainer with the Rams from July 2023 through December 2023, working with the school’s football program. She also has worked in similar roles with the athletic departments at Johnson and Wales (January-April 2024) and Babson College (October 2022 through April 2023).

Langevin completed internships with Perfect Postures in Newton, Mass. (January-April of 2022) and with Sport and Spine Physical Therapy in Coventry, R.I. (May-August of 2021).

Heavily involved in volunteer work, Langevin has been a special needs basketball coach, camp counselor and lifeguard, all with the Autism Project. She also has volunteered with the Boston Marathon, Rhode Island Special Olympics and the St. Gregory the Great Church violin ensemble. Langevin served as a NATA District I Student Ambassador while at Lasell University in Newton, Mass., and she volunteered with the iLead Conference, held at Merrimack University.

Langevin earned both a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Lasell. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and was a Dean’s List student while completing her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science in May of 2022. She went on to compete her master’s degree in Athletic Training in May of 2024.
