2024-25 (Freshman/Lewis University)
- Helped the women's swimming team place fourth at the Great Lakes Valley Conference championship
- Earned conference academic award with a 3.83 GPA
Before College
- Attended Instituto Santa Ines
- Competed in swimming and field hockey
- Was a House captain, and twice earned her team's Effort Award
- Also competed for the Municipalidad de San Isidro club team
- Was a member of the Argentinian Junior National Team
- Argentinian national LCM junior record holder in the 100 Butterfly (1:02.59)
- Participated at the South American Championship three times
- Represented Argentina five times at international meets (2018, 2021 2022, 2023)
Personal
- Daughter of Clara Zavalia Lagos and Diego Bertotto
- Has one brother, In~aki, and one sister, Libe
- Chose Rhode Island because the swimming team and its warmth and sense of community immediately stood out to her
- Enjoys rafts, sports, being outdoors and spending time with family
- Favorite athlete is Michael Phelps
- Majoring in Biomedical Engineering
