  • Attended Instituto Santa Ines
  • Competed in swimming and field hockey
  • Was a House captain, and twice earned her team's Effort Award
  • Also competed for the Municipalidad de San Isidro club team
  • Was a member of the Argentinian Junior National Team
  • Argentinian national LCM junior record holder in the 100 Butterfly (1:02.59)
  • Participated at the South American Championship three times
  • Represented Argentina five times at international meets (2018, 2021 2022, 2023)
Personal
  • Daughter of Clara Zavalia Lagos and Diego Bertotto
  • Has one brother, In~aki, and one sister, Libe
  • Chose Rhode Island because the swimming team and its warmth and sense of community immediately stood out to her
  • Enjoys rafts, sports, being outdoors and spending time with family
  • Favorite athlete is Michael Phelps
  • Majoring in Biomedical Engineering
