Before College

• Attended Turner Ashby High School, where she competed in swimming and soccer
• Also swam for the Virginia Gators club team
• Was a team captain as a senior
• Set nine school records during her high school career
• Led the school to a state championship, as well as a runner-up finish

Personal

• Daughter of Sheryl and Andy Beckwith
• Father was a swimming at James Madison from 1987-89
• Also considered attending Vermont, West Chester, Tampa, New Hampshire and Maine
• Chose Rhode Island because of the swim team and the good nursing program
• Enjoys swimming, pickleball, soccer, playing board games, hiking/camping
• Favorite athlete is Simone Manuel
• Majoring in Nursing
