2011-12 (Sophomore): Outdoor: At Northeastern, placed second in the 800-meter run (2:18.47) and fifth in the 1,500-meter run (4:49.68)... At the UConn All-Region Invitational, placed second in the 4x400m relay (3:56.23) and eighth in the 1500m run (4:45.21)... At the Brown Invitational ran a personal best and New England time of 2:12.94 in the 800m run and finished second. Brillante's time makes her the eight best URI individual all-time and sets a new sophomore class record. Also earned a season best in the 4x400m relay (3:52.88).
Indoor: At the Sorlien Invitational, earned third in the 4x800m relay (10:16.04)... Earned second in both the distance medley (12:29.26) and the 1,000m run (3:02.52) at the URI Invite... At the Terrier Classic, placed 17th in the 800 meters with a personal best and New England qual. mark of 2:15.31... In the New England Indoor Championships, posted the second fastest time in the trials for the 800m run, clocking in at 2:14.90, beating her previous best 2:15.31 from the BU Terrier Invitational. Earned third in the 800m final (2:15.64).
