2012: (5 MS/7 MP)... Finished season with 18 blocks (1 solo, 17 assists), 13 kills, six digs and one assist... Had five kills, five block assists, one solo block and three digs at Fordham (11/10)... Had two kills and one block at Providence (11/7)... Had two block assists and one assist against Butler (10/27)... Had seven block assists, one kill and one dig against Saint Louis (10/26)... Made her first career start and had four kills, two block assists and one dig against Temple (10/21)... Made collegiate debut and had one kill and one dig at Dayton (10/13).

High School: Graduated from St. Mary Academy Bay View Academy, where she competed in volleyball, basketball, lacrosse and softball... Also attended Classical High School for one year... Played three years with the Blast Volleyball club team... Was a two-year captain of the Bay View volleyball team... Earned a total of 10 varsity letters in high school... Was a First-Team All-Division and Third-Team All-State volleyball player in 2011... Received honorable mention honors in basketball... Led Bay View to back-to-back Rhode Island Division II Central championships.

Personal: Born Oct. 31, 1994... Daughter of Patricia Galvao and Jose Palavra... Has one brother, Derek Galvao... Her brother Derek played basketball at Framingham State College... Enjoys eating, surfing, talking, fashion, wakeboarding, adventures, animals, laughing and making other people laugh... Her favorite athlete is Candace Parker... Favorite teams are the Celtics, Red Sox, Patriots and the Brazilian soccer team Flamengo... Majoring in Elementary Education and Special Education.
