Alli Yacko joined the Rhode Island volleyball staff as a graduate assistant in January of 2023.
A former three-year team captain for Division II Northern Michigan, Yacko led her team to a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship in 2021. The Wildcats won both the regular-season and conference tournament titles that season. In 2022, Yacko led the team to a spot in the Division II NCAA Championship tournament.
In four seasons with the Wildcats, Yacko had 1,449 career digs, including 489 in 2022. She finished her career ranking second in program history with 3.7 digs per set.
While at Northern Michigan, Yacko was co-president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, as well as a member of the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association. A Dean's List student for all eight of her semester's, Yacko earned a bachelor's degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences in May of 2022.
