2024 (Redshirt Senior)

  • Started all 14 games as an inside linebacker
  • Totaled 102 tackles in his final collegiate season with 8.5 TFLs, 2.5 sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery
  • Racked up 13 tackles with seven solo stops at Minnesota (Sept. 7)
  • Recorded a career-high 14 tackles along with 1.5 TFLs, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery at LIU (Sept. 21)
  • Notched 3.0 TFLs and 2.0 sacks at Hampton (Oct. 5)
  • Totaled nine tackles across the two FCS Playoff games against CCSU (Nov. 30) and Mercer (Dec. 7)
  • Served as both game captain and the anchor bearer once

  • Born Feb. 15, 2001
  • Son of Mark and Sharon Brockwell
  • Has three sisters, Carley, Courtney and Colleen
  • His father, Mark, and his uncle, Kurt, both played for the Rams. Mark is URI Hall of Famer who earned All-Yankee Conference honors as a linebacker in 1984
  • He chose Rhode Island because of the environment on campus and because of what the University and the football program are capable of
  • Favorite athlete is Brian Urlacher
  • Favorite team is the New York Giants
  • Enjoys spending time with his family, playing football and lacrosse and skiing
