2014 (Junior)

• Appeared in each of Rhode Island's 103 sets played.
• Led the team in kills (422) and kills per set (4.10) while ranking second in total digs (258) and third in digs per set (2.50).
• Also added 38 blocks, including four solos, 18 service aces and 22 assists.
• Was one of just two Atlantic 10 players to record more than 400 kills during the regular season. 
• Became just the fourth Rhode Island player in program history to reach 400 kills in two different seasons. 
• Led the team with 12 double-doubles.
• Totaled double-digit kills in 24 of 28 matches and had 20+ kills five times.
• Earned All-Tournament honors at the Delaware Invitational, SHU Hampton Inn Shelton Invitational, Art Carmichael Invitational and Holly Young Invitational.

2013 (Sophomore)

• Appeared in 112 of Rhode Island's 115 sets played.
• Led the team in kills (418), kills per set (3.73) and service aces (28) while ranking second in total digs (284).
• Also added 31 blocks, including three solos, and 23 assists.
• Led the team with 14 double-doubles.
• Totaled double-digit kills in 25 of 30 matches and had 20+ kills five times.
• Reached double figures in digs 15 different times.
• Had multiple aces in nine separate matches.
• Turned in season-highs in both kills (23) and digs (17) against UConn.
• Earned All-Tournament honors at the Lehigh Classic and the Art Carmichael Invitational.
• Also was MVP ofthe Art Carmichael Invitational.

2012 (Freshman)

• Appeared in 44 sets for the Rams.
• Averaged 1.93 kills and 1.00 digs per set.
• Totaled 85 kills, 44 digs, 10 blocks, five aces and three assists.
• Had a season-best 10 digs against Iona.
• Recorded eight kills, eight digs, two service aces and a pair of block solos at Rutgers.
• Registered a season-high 14 kills against Hofstra.

High School

• Was a three-year varsity player at San Clemente High School.
• Served as team captain and was a member of the Orange County All-Star Team in 2012.
• Finished the 2012 summer ranked first in the California Beach Volleyball Association's 18-and-under division.
• Was a member of the South Coast League Championship team from 2008-11.
• Received the Team Player Award in 2011.
• Was named to the 2011 Junior National Championship All-Tournament Team.
• Also was a First Team All-League honoree in 2011.
• Was selected to the 2010 SCVA High Performance Team and earned Scholar Athlete accoladed in 2009.
• Participated in the Assisteens of Capistrano Valley and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Personal

• Born May 26, 1994.
• Daughter of Chris and Mike Darnold.
• Her father played football at the University of Redlands for four years while her mother played volleyball at Long Beach Community College.
• Has a younger brother, Sam, who begins his freshman season as a quarterback for the USC Trojans in 2015.
• Her grandfather, Dick Hammer, played basketball at USC for four years in addition to being a member of the 1964 Olympic volleyball team.
• Has played club volleyball with T-Street Volleyball Club (three years), Saddleback Valley Volleyball Club (two years) and Laguna Beach Volleyball Club (one year).
• Favorite team is the LA Dodgers.
• Enjoys beach volleyball and reading.
• Majoring in Writing and Rhetoric with plans of becoming an author or journalist.
