  • Was a member of the volleyball, basketball and track & field teams at Thomas A. Blakelock High School.

  • Helped lead her team high school volleyball team to both the Halton District Tier 1 and the GHAC Region championship titles... Also was an OFSAA participant and won four All-4 District tournaments in 2016.
  • Was an OFSAA qualifier in track & field and led her basketball team to the 2014 District Tier 2 title.
  • Played club volleyball for Oakville Thunder Blue (four years) and served as team captain in 2016.
  • Was a Ontario Volleyball All-Star, an OFSAA award-winner and MVP in 2016.
  • Received the Oakville Thunder U17 Coaches Award in 2017 as well as the U15 MVP Award in 2013.
  • Also was an OFSAA award-winner in track & field (2013).
  • Was a four-year honor roll student.
  • Volunteered with the Terry Fox Foundation and was a member of the Tiger Crew, which helps ninth-grade students with their transition into high school.

  • Daughter of Shonna Brown and Kim Turpin.
  • Has an older sister, Renée, and a younger brother, Jayden.
  • Enjoys photography, sports, art and hanging out with friends.
  • Favorite teams is the Toronto Raptors.
  • Selected Rhode Island because of the campus' home-like feel, the University's great academic reputation and the volleyball team's coaching staff and style of play.
  • Majoring in Biology.
