Brigid St. Leger joined the Rhode Island Athletics Department as the associate athletic director for marketing in August of 2023.
St. Leger came to Rhode Island after spending two years at the University of Pittsburgh, where she was the director of marketing and game presentation. In that role, she led strategic marketing and promotional campaigns for several sports while also assisting in advertising, ticket sales and revenue generation campaigns. St. Leger was the primary marketing contact for the football program and the game-day producer for men’s basketball, women’s soccer, wrestling and women’s lacrosse.
She was responsible for the management and implementation of all in-game elements, timelines, and promotions; fulfill corporate partner agreements; coordinate with band and spirit team on game day elements; and oversee game-day production staff, including director, camera and replay operators, matrix board operators, and a team of student interns.
Before her time at Pitt, St. Leger spent four years with the Colgate University athletic department, including two years as the assistant athletic director for marketing and fan engagement. She also served as a graduate assistant coach in women’s soccer at LeMoyne College in Syracuse.
St. Leger graduate Cum Laude from Canisius College with a degree in Sports Management in 2015 following a four-year career with the women’s soccer team.
