Drake Jackson enters his first year with the Rams in 2025 and will work with the offensive line.
Jackson was a four-year letter winner for Kentucky from 2017-20 and a standout center. He helped lead UK to 37 wins (most in a five-season span since 1949-53), 20 SEC games (most in a five-year span in school history) and five straight bowl games, tying the school record.
He played in 47 career games over the course of his five-year career (2016-20), making 44 consecutive starts on the Big Blue Wall. Jackson earned All-America Honorable Mention honors by Phil Steele as a senior after grading at 85.7 percent with 40 knockdowns and 188 blocks at the point of attack. He was also named First-Team All-SEC by Pro Football Focus and Second-Team All-SEC by the Associated Press, SEC Coaches and Phil Steele in 2020.
Elected as one of 10 team captains as a senior, Jackson was named to the Rimington Trophy Watch List for the nation’s top center in 2020 and named to Outland Trophy Watch List for the nation’s top interior lineman in both 2019 and 2020. He helped UK set single-season school records with 3,624 rushing yards, 36 rushing touchdowns, and 6.3 yards per carry as a junior in 2019, earning First-Team All-SEC by the AP and Athlon Sports.
A native of Versailles, Kentucky, he graduated in December of 2019 with a degree in agricultural economics from UK. He also earned a master's degree in kinesiology and health promotion in December of 2020 from UK and is currently working on a second master's.Â
Jackson spent one season on NFL practice squads with the Detroit Lions, Houston Texans, New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams. He then spent two seasons as a graduate assistant at his alma mater, working primarily with the offensive line.Â
