Todd Moxey

Todd Moxey joined the Rhode Island athletic department on a fulltime basis in July of 2024 as the coordinator of game day operations. He enters his third year overall in the department for the 2024-25 season.

In his role, Moxey works with the Associate Athletic Director of Athletic Operations to oversee gameday event management. He serves as a liaison between the athletic department and game officials, sets up the replay systems for football and basketball games and schedules and supervises event workers. In addition, he assists with scheduling practice times for both home and visiting teams.

Moxey worked as an athletics department facilities and operations intern from 2022-2024. He also interned with the athletics media relations office producing and publishing social media content. He also was the pitching coach for the South Kingstown High School baseball team in 2024.

Moxey earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Rhode Island in May of 2022, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a 3.6 grade-point average. He was an Atlantic 10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll recipient during his time as a member of the URI baseball team as a pitcher from 2019 through 2022. He began his collegiate career at Longwood University, where he earned Big South Academic Honor Roll recognition.
