Winkle Kelley has been Coordinator of Advising Programs for Student Athletes since 1988. In addition to her duties as program coordinator, Kelley serves as the "go to" athletic academic advisor for the following sports: Men's Golf, Women's Rowing, Women's Soccer, Softball, Women's Swimming & Diving, Women's Tennis, & Women's Volleyball.She is the Athletic Department's academic representative for our University College's Summer Orientation Program. Kelley encourages students to take advantage of her services and to become actively involved in their academic growth.In 1991, she received the National Academic Advising Association's Certificate of Merit for outstanding academic advising of students.An Ocean State native, Winkle earned her B.A. and M.A. in English from the University of Rhode Island.Winkle resides in Newport, RI. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, sailing, gardening, walking her dog and going to the beach.Updated Sept. 21, 2011
