Rams Run Away From Bears, 57-40

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (AP) - Will Daniels, Jon Clark and Jamaal Wise each scored 10 points and Rhode Island opened the second half with a 13-0 run to pull away for a 57-40 victory over Brown on Saturday night.

Luke Ruscoe had 12 points to lead Brown (1-3).

Brown led 23-19 at halftime, but scored just two baskets during the first 16 minutes of the second half as Rhode Island (2-1) pulled ahead. Parfait Bitee scored two baskets in the run.

Jimmy Baron hit a long 3-pointer to start a 10-0 Rhode Island run, which gave the Rams a 50-33 lead. Clark scored a basket in the paint for a 52-33 Rhode Island lead with 4:14 to play.

Brown made just four field goals in the second half and shot 29 percent from the field in the game. The Rams shot 48 percent.

Dawan Robinson had seven points and two assists in his first full game for Rhode Island in more than a year. He missed all but one game last season with a stress fracture in his left foot and then sat out the Rams' first two games this season for a disciplinary suspension.
