Baseball Falls To George Washington, 4-2

ARLINGTON, VA -

University of Rhode Island sophmore third baseman Shaun Hagey went 4-for-5 with a run scored in the Rams' (14-6, 4-2 A-10) 4-2 loss to George Washington (7-19, 1-5 A-10) on Sunday at Barcroft Park. 

Sophomore Zach Zaneski and senior catcher Josh Nestor each had a hit and a RBI for the Rams.  Junior rightfielder Scott Brown, senior second baseman Wayne Russo and sophomore shortstop Mike O'Malley each contributed one hit.

Junior James Norcott recieved the loss after pitching five and a third innings giving up four runs on eight hits while striking out four.

The Rams return to action on Tuesday when they take on Central Connecticut State at Bill Beck Field in Kingston.
