KISSIMMEE, Fla. - The University of Rhode Islans softball team defeated Lafayette College, 11-3, Monday afternoon in non-conference action at the Rebel Spring Games in Florida.

Sophomore Melissa Wilson went 3-for-4 with five RBI and three runs scored to lead the URI offense. Classmate Leah DiBussolo also laced three hits and drove in two runs as the Rams tallied 12 hits on the afternoon. Sophomore Jackie Kampmeier also recorded three hits and scored three runs.

Senior Jill Anderson picked up the win for URI, allowing six hits and three runs (two earned) over six innings.
