What It Means:
Rhode Island sees its 32-game home non-conference win streak snapped, as it drops a 70-64 decision to BU. Prior to the loss to the Terriers, the last time Rhody took a loss at home to a non-A-10 school was on Dec. 16, 2006 in an 89-80 loss to DePaul.
Inside the Box Score and Beyond:
* Orion Outerbridgeposted his fifth straight double-digit scoring game to start the season, tallying 16 points (6-13 FG). He started off the game connecting on his first three shots, going 3-of-10 the rest of the way.
* Nikola Malesevicwas the only other Ram in double figures, with 15 points. He was also 6-for-13 from the floor (2-6 3FG).
* Rhody led by 11 points with 14:58 to play, after two Jamal Wilsonfree throws made it 45-34. BU followed with a 23-8 run over the next eight minutes.
* During that 8:00 stretch, URI shot just 3-of-10 from the floor and committed five turnovers.
* Six of Rhody's last eight shots from the floor, over the last 4:41 of the ballgame, were 3-point attempts.
* TJ Buchanan again played solid off the bench in a reserve point guard role. The Kalamazoo, Mich. native had three assists (zero turnovers) and two steals in 13 minutes. He leads the team in assist-turnover ratio, with a 3.67:1 mark (11a/3t).
* Jamal Wilson's nine rebounds are a season-high. His career best is 11 (vs. George Washington, March 2, 2011).
