Setting the Scene
Rhode Island won three out of four races for its most successful performance against Northeastern ever Saturday on the Charles River. The teams raced in headwinds ranging from six to 10 miles per hour, with the winds getting calmer as the morning went along.

Top Performances
* Rhode Island's Second Varsity 8 continued rolling through its competition, beating the Northeastern boat by 15.5 seconds. The Rams are 10-1 in Second Varsity 8 races this season.
* The Varsity 4 team held off a pair of Northeastern boats to record the win in a time of 8:19.2. Rhode Island beat Northeastern's Varsity 4A boat by 6.7 seconds and the Huskies' Varsity 4B boat by 18.3 seconds.
* Rhode Island's Novice 8 boat notched another win when it won its race in a time of 7:57.3, beating Northeastern by 15.8 seconds.

What's Next
Rhode Island travels to Indiana to take on the Hoosiers, Central Florida, and Duke in a two-day event next weekend for the Dale England Cup Trophy. It is the team's final race before the Atlantic 10 Championship on May 5.
